Favorite thing: Well, since I am addressing VT loyal followers, what city tip would be complete without mentioning that Cancun is very internet access friendly. Sarah and I were able to go to one of the nicest internet cafes I have seen, on Kukulan Blvd in the hotel district. It was in a mini shopping mall, near Carlos N Charlies, but I could not find which center it was called. It is on the 2nd floor, above Haagen Dazs. This was reasonably priced, I think we paid 4 dollars for 30 minutes access.

Turtle Beach (Playa Tortugas)

Favorite thing: If you are coming in on a cruise ship and just want to relax on a close beach, then Playa Tortugas fits that bill. Right next to the tender location is a stretch of beach where alot of children were busy enjoying the water and fairly safe little harbor area. On the other side of the tender pier were lots of sail boats and the typical scuba/parasailing tour company boats.

Largest Mexican Flag I have seen!`

Favorite thing: I was quite surprised... and coming from Texas, this is something I am used to.... at how large the flag was! National pride is something native to all Texans, but to see such a large Mexican flag was fun!
