If you are a college football fan, and like cold weather games, there is no place better to watch some football than Shreveport, LA. Home to the Independence Bowl, which hosts the SEC's 5th place team versus the Big 12's 5th place team, you are guarenteed a cold fun time! There is plenty to do the whole week up here in Shreveport, so make sure to make plans now!
Equipment: Warm socks, thermal underwear, and a party attitude!

Minor Baseball is in full swing in Shreveport! One of the fun activities that could be classified as sports travel OR nightlife in Shreveport is to go watch the S'ports! (note that the name of the team is also the abbreviated spelling of Shreveport! Sarah and I went to the game on Visor Night, as evidenced by the picture below. Also, do not be afraid if the promotion when you go says limited to the first 1000 people... because we were able to get 2 visors each... since not 1000 people were at the park. So please go out to bid on Ebay for our other two hats!
