Head out to Natchitoches at Christmas time! One of the fun places to tour if you are in Louisiana during the winter time is Natchitoches (pronounced Nack-a-ditch). They have a wonderful little downtown area that is right on the water, and also has a beautiful bed and breakfast district to take you back a few years.
Even if you are just planning to be travelling on I-49, take the extra 15 minutes out of your day and go down Santa Claus Lane! It will be worth it! |
