History During a little research of the city for my trip, I found out something that I had not known about San Jose. It was the original state capital of California prior to its statehood into the US.
"Pueblo de San Jose de Guadalupe" was the original name for San Jose given by Charles the Third of Spain.
In a little more modern day terms, San Jose is the 3rd largest CA city, and 11th largest in the nation. It is very well known as the gateway to the Silicon Valley... and all things high tech! |
