Information

Picture courtesy of Palo Alto City homepage.
Palo Alto is a wonderful little city just north of San Jose, and about 35 miles south of San Francisco, located very close to the western edge of the San Francisco Bay Area.

It has been a city for over a hundred years, and is named after the 250 year old redwood tree that Spanish settlers found on the creek of San Fransicquito.

It is the home to Stanford University, among many other high tech industry companies.

Helpful tips, especially for business traveler. Top-notch transportation & warning tips. Surprised that a higher-class hotel would be next to Vet...glad you were able to sleep with barking dogs in the background! I'd love to see Stanford campus.

My neighbor here in Wyoming loves Peet's Coffee. Being a small town of about 9,000 people, we can't get it here, however. She has to order hers online. Nice page.
