Trunk Bay

When visiting St. John, it would be a true shame to miss out on Trunk Bay. According to the Cruise ship personnel, this is the #2 ranked beach in all of the world. I would have to agree based on the beaches I have seen. There was plenty of shade for grandparents and the people blessed with light skin.

The water was beautiful, however the snorkeling trail that was so highly touted was a little disappointing for me. I do not think if you are going only for snorkeling, that this would be your best location.

Pros and Cons

Pros:Beaches, water, white sand
Cons:Snorkeling was not worth it.
In a nutshell:I would definitely visit this location again.

The coral along the snorkeling trail is sadly getting ruined by the crush of people coming to see it, it really used to be gorgeous there! Coral's just so fragile, & it's getting broken...
