|  | Estado do Rio de Janeiro As an overview to the region, most of the time I spent in Estado do Rio was actually in Rio de Janeiro, the capital city. I will try to cover most of the city based activities in my Rio page, but for now I will also add a few things from our trips outside the city. |

We found downtown Santiago to be just the same on a Saturday afternoon - and had a similar experience with the City to Surf run in Sydney as you did with the marathon in Rio. Love the little marmoset. leyle | kyoub Sun Apr 20, 2008 15:15 UTC

Excellent page. Makes me want to go to Rio more than I already did. Your tip about the marathon would be good for many cities. We got stuck in to London marathon on our honeymoon. |
