If you are a photographer that is looking for some excellent opportunities to photograph the capitol, I woud recommend taking a stroll through Capitol Park. Located directly across from the state capitol building, it is a small accessible park.

Great tip on the Egyptian, Mark, & nice shot of it! I don't know if it's still there, but there used to be an old organ up front for accompanying silent movies. I actually played it once when the theatre was closed - very fun!!!
