Restaurant Name: Stagecoach Inn
Being from Texas, I was skeptical as to what to expect when many locals recommended I go to a steakhouse for local Idaho cuisine. Idaho has its roots deeply planted in the pioneer lifestyle, and beef/potatoes are a staple in the Idahoan's diet. The Stagecoach Inn is an interesting piece of Idaho history, very dark and although smoking is no longer allowed... you can see the stains of past transgressions. The Bar area was very lively with customers, however no one in the place was younger than 50. The food was very good, although overpriced for a steak not from Texas.
Favorite Dish: I had the prime rib with baked potato and salad.... delicious.
