    • Bring a book and some water when you are waiting for an airplane out of the Luxor Airport. We had to wait 2 hours at 11 o'clock at night for the buses to move us over to the plane.

    Also make sure you keep a little Egyptian cash for the Luxor airport... there are a couple vendors for drinks or food, but the do not take American Express :)

    • One very interesting thing we saw very close to our cruise ship was a tree that had thorns on it just like a rose bush!

    Make sure you do not lean up against this prickly pine!

    • I would like everyone from Chicago to please read this tip:

    "The way you preserve a temple for 6000 years is very simple... Allow Billy Goats in, anytime they want!"

    For those of you that do not know, The Chicago Cubs baseball team have a curse on them since the early 20th century because they did not allow a Billy Goat into the stadium for the world series.

    • Be careful that the heat does not get to you when you are out visiting the Valley of the Queens. Sometimes just seeing a statue might make you start doing the Funky Chicken!
