Our First Temple

On our trip to Egypt in 2004, we were able to visit many temples, however they always say your first temple is your most memorable. The sheer magnitude of this temple along with the minute detail in every etching really amazed me.

Then to top it all off, it was communicated to us that this particular temple was well over 5000 years old!

Splendid page on Philae. It had my favourite setting amongst the great temples of Egypt.

Awesome pictures and thank you for tourist trap haha, is it Egyptian style of treating "rich" visitors?

Great photos. I dont think I have been anywhere (yet) where there are quite as many scams as there are in Egypt. Nice Page Mark (~_~)

Yes I have to agre that 'Frank WUZ Here' does not sound terribly Egyptian and would not enhance the original carvings in ay way at all. :-(

Thx for warning the "Hat commerce" - but Philea is without doubt a topper - in a country with tourist traps !
