Mount Maunganui and the Bay of Plenty

During our recent trip to the North Island of New Zealand, we visited the Bay of Plenty and its flagship "mountain", Mt. Maunganui. Although it really is just a big hill, its location right next to the ocean makes it a unique landmark.

We only spent an afternoon here, so I am no expert, but I will try and let you know what we did and saw!

    'That' mountain is a volcano LOL. It's one of my favourite spots, love low sun photo. Thanks for showing us! Pam :-)
