The Long Way around Port Phillip Bay | Geelong's Life Saving crew |
Sarah and I decided that Australia Day (Jan. 26th) would be perfect for a day's drive. As we looked at possible itineraries, we noticed that Port Phillip Bay was easily crossed from Sorrento to Queenscliff. So off we went from the eastern side of the Bay, made the crossing, and then came back up through Geelong. Much to our surprise there was a big event on in downtown Geelong, so out we jumped!
We were immediately put to work on the docks, luckily it was helping to save lives! |

This area has changed so much since the days we used to take the kids down for a swim at Eastern Beach or go fishing off the pier. |
