Outback Pioneer Bar: Head to the Outback
  • Tip Rating:
  • Nightlife Spot: Outback Pioneer Bar

If you are going to be out in Uluru and you are not the type that needs to sleep to actually enjoy the tours by day, then i would definitely recommend stopping into the Outback Pioneer Bar and Bottle Shop for an evening night capper.

Sarah and I are not huge partiers, as we are trying deeply to see the whole world, and this is tough to do when you do not wake up until 11am in a beer induced coma.

We did come in late a couple of nights from the journeys and this place was alive and kicking well into the evening hours!

Looks like a great place for youngsters like you two to explore, but I am not convinced that I want to include this area when we visit Australia next year. Interesting page!

A very thorough description of Uluru National Park. It's an area I'm not too well versed about so your information was certainly education. You always include a bit of humor which I appreciate. Well done!

I like your description of bushwalking! So many people told me not to go here that I skipped it, good to see the other perspective :-)

Great photos and tips. I can't wait to get there in June (and I won't forget my hair---:-) Ann, The Travel Slut
