Welcome to Spring... time for a road trip Sarah is planning on heading back up to the US for almost a month. After surviving 6 months of winter between the US and now Australia, we decided to enjoy the spring by coming out and seeing one of Victoria's National Parks. Wilson's Promontory is located about 2 hours south east of Melbourne, but is a world a way!
Recently, in April 2005, "The Prom" was hit hard by a bush fire, which blazed over 15% of the park. Unfortunately for the Prom, it was the most visited portions of the park that it blazed!
In better news, we visited and can tell you that it is still worth the trip, and most of the trails are back to normal operations.
