Roatan - Our first time to Honduras During our cruise in December 2004, we made our second stop in Roatan in the Bay Islands of Honduras. We were excited to make this trip, since Honduras was a location that both Sarah and I had not been to, although we have heard alot about it. It lived up to expectations, and then some. I personally liked this island more than all the other Caribbean Islands I have visited so far. |
| | CSI - Roatan During my many years in the US, I have visited many shelters, charity organizations, and other places to help the needy, but Child Sponsorship International really touched my heart. Brad and Debbie Warren are the directors of this orphanage in Roatan and they are really community leaders helping all of the children in Roatan. If you are visiting Roatan, please visit their site if you are interested in bringing additional supplies with you on your trip. As a friendly reminder, if you pack an extra suitcase full of donations... it magically gives you extra room for souvenirs on the way back!

| Pros: | "Wonderful views, snorkelling, etc." | | Cons: | "Only 36 miles long... and going to be too many cruise ships." |
