My first knowledge of the little island of Koh Samui came from a US film entiled Meet the Parents, in which Robert Deniro was a CIA operative that was checking out his daughter's new fiance, Ben Stiller. As Robert Deniro spoke in Thai, the word Koh Samui came up several times..... as a honeymoon location for the two newlyweds!
Sarah and I were not newly weds at the time, but this did not stop us from enjoying what Koh Samui had to offer!

We enjoy cruising too, think it works out quite reasonable, and the food is something to die for!! Did a cruise from Singapore to Phuket which was good as well.
