Sarah and I took a day trip to Strasbourg primarily because we needed to turn our map blue for France. We had heard that this was a beautiful border town, and that a day trip would not disappoint. Boy were we right!

Enjoyed your Strasbourg Page. The reason you saw so many stork souvenirs is that there is a famous stork preserve in the Orangerie Park in Strasbourg. It's a breeding program to save the storks. It's great fun if you ever return!
Glad you took advantage of the new TGV train to visit Strasbourg. (I took the TGV from Paris to Strasbourg on the first day of commercial operation.)
Sarah looked so sad with that Gargoyle!
Carnies have small hands and smell like cabbage? Hmm, I'll have to check the next time one is in town ;-)
Really well done! I have never been to France. Can't get my husband to go; I think he has the wrong idea about the people. Great gargoyle and I found the Batorama quite interesting also.
That sure was a sad gargoyle.
Nice job on Strasbourg. The only plus to taking the boat tour around town is being able to get a different photographic perspective.
Hi, Mark! It's a majectic place indeed! I would have enjoyed my visit too!
