Ludwig's Castle was Closed!

Unfortunately on my trip to Germany, we ran into a little snag when we went to Schloss Linderhof... it was closed for the day! Not due to bad planning, just due to scheduled rennovation that we did not know about it.

The nice thing was that the complex was not closed, merely the interior to Ludwig's Castle. We were still able to tour the entire outside of the castle, and so I will include those photos!

Spectacular photographs, especially your introductory one! Thank goodness the trip was not totally wasted since the outside scenery was magnificent.

Oh bummer Mark, but you got some lovely photo's here anyways. I saw a special on the learning channel about King Ludwig! Absolutely fascinating!
