Krakow - I finally went there!

by christine.j - last update: Sep 26, 2005

Ever since a collegue of mine started raving about her hometown Krakow I wanted to go there. But then a planned trip got cancelled, another trip planned for 2004 had to be postponed and I got thinking it would be years before I'd finally go there. However, quite suddenly, everything worked out and in August this year -2005 - my husband and I were able to go and see this beautiful city.
We both enjoyed our stay there very much., even though it was raining quite often. We also had a few nice, sunny days, so I was able to take some pictures with a blue sky in the background. This picture shows the famous clothes halls, a wedding was being filmed on the square.

I've just been to Krakow. There is hardly any dog pooh around these days because the fine is up to 500 PLN!!! Didn't the dragon spit fire, let's hope it does it for the Euromeet next year :-)

Interesting comments. Glad you enjoyed Krakow. It's one of my favorites in a country I adore. I'm on my way at end of month. Hope to see you on my Krakow page for more warm memories.
