Our first visit to Vienna happened to be in the hottest summer Europe has had for ages, in 2003. My daughter and I went there, she's a music lover, I'm a history lover. In Vienna you have both, all over the place. So the two of us had a wonderful time. |
| Even the old Egyptians like football |
| | My second visit to Vienna took place in June 2008, during the European Football Championship. I was just as overwhelmed as the first time, music and history all over the place, this time also huge crowds of football fans. It was a very colourful atmosphere. |
| | There is too much to see in Vienna, don't even try to see it all. I picked a few things I absolutely wanted to see and made a list for the next visit.
Just walking and watching the fans was lots of funs, some costumes were really elaborate. And as I happened to be there in the days of the match Austria - Germany, I gained an additional piece of knowledge: I now know where Córdoba is situated. |

A visit to the zoo, museums and entertaining oneself with classical music are some of the better known attractions.
