but don't worry, I haven't lost my mind.

When I was planning our trip to Cambridgeshire, I was reading the Ely pages here on VT. Vt member Leics
has a wonderful page. There is a picture of an eel wearing a T-Shirt.
Even though I had to postpone my trip to Ely for one year, I remembered the eel in a T-Shirt. So I told my husband when we were in Ely, besides the cathedral I absolutely had to go and see if the eel was still wearing its T-Shirt.

Well, my husband is used to weird remarks from me, so no problem there. I had a a much harder time with the friendly lady in the tourist office.She looked somewhat surprised and was probably thinking "tourists!".
She said she didn't know anything about a T-Shirt wearing eel, but told me how to get to the sculpture of an eel.
When we arrived there I recognized the eel from Leics' picture, but - no T-Shirt. It was very hot that day, so probably a good idea for eels to go topless.
