My son and I decided to stretch our trip from Cambridge to London into several days, with one stop in Ipswich, mainly because I wanted to see the museum there. It's not a major tourist town in the UK, but we both liked it there. Especially the waterfront area is really nice. |

craic Sat Aug 29, 2009 06:49 UTC that's an off the beaten path sort of museum | Trekki Sun Aug 10, 2008 09:52 UTC The museum sounds interesting but this internet "deal" at the hotel seems a bit of a rip-off! | evaanna Tue Apr 24, 2007 18:29 UTC If the coast is there, I would definitely like Ipswich. Why do the British charge so much for accommodation? No wonder they themselves prefer to spend their holidays abroad. | matcrazy1 Sun Mar 4, 2007 22:32 UTC Good and interesting tips. I only knew Ipswich Town Football Club as for now. |
