We had four days in Florence and didn't manage to see half of what we would have liked to see. I was overwhelmed by the many museums, the art, the churches. Luckily we were there in March, off-season, so there were not too many long lines. The exceptions of course were the lines for David in the Accademia and the line for the Uffizi. The Accademia we had reserved and were able to cut the lines, my husband started queuing at the Uffizi, but had to give up. Next time, it's a good reason to come back to this marvellous city. The picture is from the singing galleries in the Duomo museum, the best one in my mind. |
