The people in Gambia are probably some of the happiest people I have come across. And they are not just happy to us because they want to be our "friends" and earn some cash from us ( although many do!) They are extremely happy and full of fun with each other! If you stop and watch, you will see them always laughing and joking with each other, always happy to see each other, and always simply loving life....even those who dont have a lot. Its quite refreshing! |
| | Beautiful Beaches The Gambians are quite proud of their beaches, and quite rightly so! They have soft pale sands with warm clean waters lapping the shore line. Every part of every beach has a bar with reggae music pumping in the background, sunbeds are made up for you as soon as you step onto the beach, and someone ( if not more than one!) will come up to you asking if you would like food or drinks bought to your bed! Does it get any better than that?! |
| | Beautiful sights There are many wonderful things to see in the Gambia. There are some very very beautiful birds to be seen around every corner. There are some gorgeous lizards basking upon every tree. Tall palm trees are in abundance, as are the beautiful baobab trees. The Gambian women are also all gorgeous, wearing the most fabulous clothes - they always look so wonderful..I dont know how they do it! |
