Less restorated but nicer From Valladolid (Ruinas Chichen Itza) we took a bus to Merida (2 hrs)and then another to the Uxmal Ruinas (1 hr).
We paid 23 pesos to enter the ruinas and were glad we were nearly alone there. What a nice difference with the busloads of tourists in the previous spot |

Redlats Thu Apr 28, 2005 09:46 UTC There must have been quite a bit of inflation in Mexico. When we visited Uxmal this year, the cost was 88 pesos, and we were not allowed to climb the Dwarf's Temple (maybe they lost too many tourists???) | shdw100 Sat Mar 13, 2004 06:04 UTC I loved Uxmal, much better than Chichen Itza, and almost as good as Palenque..heading back again this year, looking forward to seeing more. Great page so far! |
