The Sonesta St George is a 5 star hotel and is beautiful. It has several restaurants, including Japanese, Italian and Egyptian. It has cafes, a health club, shops, pool. The staff here will bend over backwards to help you, especially down by the pool side where you will be handed towels and if you try to move your sunbed, the attendants will rush over to do it for you. The breakfast is amazing with such a large choice. There is even a Japanese food selection to choose from and meats such as sausages and chicken with vegetables! The lobby is spectacular with a large chandelier. This hotel was not right in the centre of Luxor - it was a 5-10 minute walk.

Unique Qualities: The best thing about this hotel was the pontoon, where everyday, just before sunset, you could sit at one of the tables and watch the sunset over the Nile, while classical music was played from their speakers.
