Fondest Memory: Ma Kettle and I missed our bus from Santa Lucia di Piave, and had a six hour wait until another one came. We were at odds as to what we should do, as this small town offered no taxi service either. We initially went in search of a bar to grab a quick coffee, and then intended to walk the eight kilometers to the train station.
Of course Ma has a nose for churches, so on the way, it was decided to stop in for a look. As I was taking photos outside, Ma became involved in a conversation with a lady who had just left the church. One thing led to another, and suddenly I find myself being led off for a personal tour. I'm not a fan of churches. However, It was a real treat to be shown everything up close and personal. I generally don't take photos inside, but I was actually encouraged to do so this time by our guide.
