Batteries 'are' hard to find

Luggage and bags: back pack would be first preference, as rolling luggage will take a beating on the cobblestones, and the inclines might be tough.

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Walking shoes no doubt, although many Italians wear high heels (?). Sandles might be slippery on the inclines, especially with smooth soles and poor ankle support.

Toiletries and Medical Supplies: no problem

Photo Equipment: Batteries are difficult to locate, however we were there mid afternoon when many shops close. I saw no camera shops, however closed shutters obscure the window displays and shop names.

Camping/Beach/Outdoor Gear: no idea.
