You know the song. There's State Street that great street, now better than ever since it leads directly to the revitalized Theater District. Mag Mile - AKA Boule Mich - is the stretch of Michigan Avenue from the riverside Wrigley Bldg. running north to the deluxe Drake Hotel. It is lined with uptown, downtown retailers of international renown, enough to make jaded, world-weary name droppers sit up and take notice.

Of course, there is THE LAKE: lakefront parks, the marinas and the Museum Campus. In addition there are college campuses - over a half dozen of them close to downtown alone - lending youthful energy to the mix.
