Where to go for a change of pace from Midwest lakes and woodlands? To Pasadena, apparently, if the name is Wrigley. Before arriving, I had no clue that this bucolic town northeast of LA had an Illinois connection. The Tournament of Roses organization is currently housed in what was the Wrigley's winter home. |

Hello from Washougal. =^oo^= Joyce | Dabs Sun Feb 27, 2005 21:41 UTC Pasadena is a lovely place to visit, I may head here next week while I'm in LA :-) | Nemorino Wed Dec 22, 2004 23:41 UTC Glad to hear they have resurrected their downtown district. Pasadena at the moment looks like quite a contrast to snowy Frankfurt. (Yes, thanks, our Glühwein meeting in Karlsruhe was a great success.) | JetlagCity Mon Nov 22, 2004 20:10 UTC This place looks so much nicer than Los Angeles! Great tips! |
