The scenic caves are definately worth the drive up the winding hills of Collingwood, Ontario to the majestic Blue Mountains.
Have fun exploring the paths, caves, and crevices that are found at Scenic Caves. Easy to make a full day out of it, but two to three hours will give you a good understanding and appreciation for the area.
Recently added is the Suspension Bridge, Ontarios longest at 126 meters long. It is 25 meters above the valley and streams and 300 meters above the Georgian Bay. The cost was over $1 million to make and is not for the weak-hearted as it will sway depending on winds and people on the bridge! You try not to think that a mere 8 centimeters of timber is all there is between you and the ground.
Newly added is Treetop Walking, for $95 per adult this two hour tour walking along suspension cables/bridges between treetops is definately for the brave.
Green season (spring, summer, fall) activities include caves tour, nature trails, suspension bridge, gemstone mining, mini golf, trout pond and picnic areas, and are open from early May to mid October (weather permitting).
Seasonal: 10:00 am to 5:00 pm daily. During the months of July and August, hours our extended from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm . The last admission pass is sold two hours prior to close.
Treetop Walking is open year-round. However, reservations are required.
