Ugh!! We were hearded in to the luau like cattle through gates then seated at tables that reminded me of school lunch tables - long rows. The food was okay and the mai tai's weren't bad either. The dancing was fun but I really prefer the old hawaiian hula to the mission hula that was prevelant here. What was really cheesy were the "county fair" type games that we had to endure before dinner.
Unique Suggestions: Use your coupons for drinks for strong mai tai's, that helps the luau experience.
Fun Alternatives: Next time I want to see real hula I will watch the Merry Monarch Festival. If I want authentic local food I will go to Byron's.
