Just got back from Hawaii. Again! What a great trip. The best part was being able to show the kids a place that I love more than anything. January 21, 2006 - Life is Great!! Have a fabulous job that awards me with travel, my kids are healthy and don't mind that I am gone, and I am earning all kinds of points to use in the future. Next weekend we are off to Key Largo as a birthday present for my husband, then Philadelphia, Las Vegas and downtown Atlanta. What I am REALLY looking forward to is Hawaii in July. Found such a great deal on Northwest Airlines, $350 roundtrip from Atlanta that I booked tickets for my WHOLE family. Now I need to find a house that we can afford. Please check out my Oahu and Kauai pages. August 18th: Yesterday was a monumentous day for me - We received our passports in the mail. It gave me a great sense of freedom. I am so thankful that I live in a country were I am free to come and go as I please. This ranks right up there with how I felt when I registered to vote. I was not too pleased with my passport photo though, but I imagine that I will actually look like the picture after a long, exhausting trip to another country. We are going on a cruise! It will be my first cruise ever and I am very excited. Royal Caribbean with stops to Key West, Cozumel and Costa Maya. Hopefully Cozumel will recover from the hurrican by the time we get there. More to come. I love New Orleans!! Spent three days in this incredible city with my best friend and ate some of the best food, met some great people and partied very, very hard. Can't wait to start building my New Orleans page. Please check back!I am 40 years old and dream EVERYDAY of traveling somewhere new and exciting. But in the meantime I am going to remember my past travels and log them on VT. Traveling is in my blood. I yearn to go, go, go, but unfortunately I am unable to go, go, go as much as I would like. My father was in the military so I was fortunate enough to see places that I wouldn't have otherwise. Currently I live in Atlanta GA with my husband and our 6 kids. |
| | Happy Couple My husband Matt is my favorite travel companion! I couldn't imagine going anywhere without him for more than a couple days. Can't wait for retirement!! |
Sister oh Sister I am blessed to have 3 sisters in my life. We are all very close in age and no matter where we moved while growing up, we always had a friend. To this day we are very close and all live in the Atlanta area.
All of us like to travel and have plans in the future when children are grown to do some MAJOR traveling! I can't wait!!
| Beautiful Maui Mountain Range |
| | Hawaii Beautiful!! January 2005 my husband and I went on a 9 day/3 island trip to Hawaii. On Oahu we visited VT member Bryinpoland and his family and had the most wonderful time seeing off the beaten path places. Please check out my Hawaii pages!! OahuWaikikiKauaiLahaina and Maui. While in Maui we used the underwater cameras and most of my pictures need to be scanned. Please be patient but I promise to get these posted! We saw turtles and more whales that you can imagine! |
Relaxed and tanned This picture was taken the last day we were on Kauai. Matt is happy and tanned, as you should be after a great vacation. I love it when he is this relaxed.
