Buffalo, a hidden gem

by sissah - last update: Jan 30, 2004

Ok, so when you hear Buffalo, you might think "wings," "Boy, I Love Losing Superbowls," or "God, it's cold," but Buffalo really is a hidden needle in the haystack of budget travel.
Buffalo pretty much has two seasons -- winter and construction -- so when the weather gets nice, the Buffalonians know how to enjoy it.  Hi, from back home. You left beautiful G.I. for that desolate island in the middle of the Pacific...all that sun, palm trees and surf...how can you stand it ;-0 Nice job on your Buffalo page...we'll be taking up a collection to buy you a camera ;-) ...Tom

As a former Buffalonian now living south of the Mason-Dixon, I can only say that reading these comments made me very hungry. Sissah is 100% correct. These restaurants kick ass.
