    • This is a beach, sports, and nature lovers' paradise. The Tróia Peninsula stretches for 13 miles south just across the Sado River from Setúbal, accessible by ferry. This finger-shaped peninsula is one of the few unscathed beach paradises in Portugal. There is a world renowned golf course, few hotels, and endless beaches...This is the perfect place to go windsurfing, sailing, dolphin watching, climbing sanddunes, or kayaking. You'll be surprised at how close to Lisbon Tróia is yet how pristine it remains.
