Tay Ninh province is in the south east region of Vietnam, bordering Cambodia. With a population of approx 1 million, Tay Ninh is not even nearly as crowded as the areas nearby Saigon.

The city of Tay Ninh is 64km from Cu Chi, 96km northwest of Ho Chi Minh City, making it an easy day trip from either. It's easiest to reach by bus.

The most popular tourist attraction here is the Great Cao Dai temple.
