Our visit to the picturesque, Spanish Island. Our base in Tenerife was the Fanabe Costasur Hotel which is in Adeje.
Tenerife is the largest of the Canary Islands. It has approximately 770 000 inhabitants many of whom live in and around the capital of Tenerife, Santa Cruz.
The Highest peak in Spain and makes a great day out with wonderful views from near the summit.
This National Park offers a fascinating landscape, created by the elemantar forces of the volcano Teide. Christopher Columbus observed its last great eruption in 1492 from the nearby island Gomera, just before continueing his discovery travel to America.
