The main traffic corridor through Syracuse is Interstate 81 seen in the background of this picture I took of my "second home", Park Central Presbyterian Church. Almond Street runs under I 81 for a short distance in the center of the city, exits to Almond street, and East Adams Street from the Onondaga Interchange, provide access to Upstate Medical University, University Hospital , Syracuse University, SUNY College of Environmental Science & Forestry and Le Moyne College.
- Pros:CNY is a nice area to live in, 5 hours or less from Boston, NYC Philidelphia, Toronto or Montreal
- Cons:very few, some years you can get a LOT of snow.
