Yekaterinburg, a name, a foot note, in history

Cathedral of the Holy Royal Martyrs. Built on the site of the house where the last royal family of Imperial Russia was murdered on orders of Viladimir Lenin. Boris Yeltsin had the house demolished after the collapse of the Soviet era. This Cathedral was built to commemorate and homor the victims the atrocity that was committed here.

Very interesting. Matter of fact, I read in 2007, they found a number of bones that they believe to be those of Alexi and one of his sisters.
