"Take Your Time" Zion National Park by CoAir13
Zion National Park Travel Guide: 572 reviews and 1,231 photos
In 1880, geologist Clarence Dutton explored this little known area of canyons and plateaus. His words sum it up better than mine ever could.
Nesteled in the Southwest corner of Utah lies Zion National Park. It is a deep and narrow canyon which is explored from the floor up. Along the bottom is the Virgin River which, almost by itself, carved this massive gorge more than 13 million years ago. In some places, it looks like a creek so, it's hard to believe, but when it rains, IT POURS in Zion! Take the time to see as much of its 229 square miles of wilderness as you can. An eight hour hike can go by pretty fast here!
- In a nutshell:Wild, rugged beauty that must be explored!!!!

Hi Jen, we took your advice and stayed at the Terrace Brook Lodge, thanks for the tip. I loved Zion and agree that one should take their time here!
And I live in the real Zion!
Great tips and photos! Zion is a park for those who are patient and allow enough time to hike its trails and explore its beauty. It sounds as though you did just that.
