Cincy: Big Town with a Small Town Attitude

Queen City

From Kentucky...looking in!
Obviously not photogenic on a hot, hazy summer day, but impressive nonetheless. Cincinnati sits in the hilly Southwest corner of the state, nestled on the banks of the Ohio River. Once out of the downtown, you begin to feel the "small town" personality within the city's neighborhoods. The river gave birth to Cincinnati so it is appropriate that it remains a river town, flanked by beautiful parks and scenic overlooks

Host and Hostess Extaordinaire

Our recent stop in Cincinnati found us in the hands of Stephen and Karen Conn. Their hospitality and graciousness made this a memorable trip, not soon to be forgotten! Stephen is a wealth of information and made sure we saw as much as possible in our short time there!

In honor of our visit, Stephen and Karen put together a mini VT meet at a Mexican restaurant in their hometown of Sharonville.

I wonder if King Ludwig I of Bavaria ever noticed that his fountain was missing. Probably not. Glad somebody found a good home for it.

I can't believe I hadn't checked out these pages before. Karen and I still have good memories of our visit with you and Ethan here. Our door is always open if you want to return.
