Beach Heaven

This tourist mecca sits in central Florida on the gulf coast. It is a relaxing vacation spot and there is always something to do....even on rainy days. The water is always warm and the breeze is calm and steady.

Sand, sand, sand......

Miles of white sand beach....perfect for digging, building sand castles, and burying your feet!!

I never would have expected to find a Salvador Dali museum in a place like this.

St. Pete is a lovely place. In exploring the area-Tampa/St.Pete- I accidentally got on the really long bridge that goes to Sarasota--14 or so miles, I think. It was so close to the water. By the time I got across the sun had gone down. A little scary.

The Tradewinds Island Grand Resort is quite a step up from the hostel routine. And an art museum in Florida which began in Cleveland. How 'bout that!
