This hotel just opened in January 2005, and they really need some suggestions for improvement. It's small and clean, there is no lift and lots of narrow steps. The breakfast room is large and they offer eggs, meat, breads, jam, juices, tea, coffee, and cereal.
If you are TALL, don't stay here...the beds are very small and uncomfortable. There are no towel racks or hooks in the tiny bathroom, which is a pain. The phones did not work so that you can call out and the credit card machine was "broken". I've heard that many small hotels in Amsterdam try to get you to pay cash so that you they don't have to pay a commission. We refused to pay cash and he took credit card information to charge when the machine was fixed.
Unique Qualities: The only good thing was.....it is clean and close to Leidseplein!
