Getting TO/AROUND: To move in town freely by bus or underground, we advise you to buy either a day ticket [€ 4,00] or the week Card [€ 16,00] allowing a limitless number of trips throughout the city. Moving in Rome by underground is fast and easy. There are two lines: line A is marked in red on the map [from January 10th 2005 to December 2007 it will be closed for refurbishment from 9 p.m. to 11.30 p.m. on weekdays and from 9 p.m. to 0.30 a.m. on Saturdays - bus lines MA1 and MA2 are covering the same route for that period] and line B, marked in blue. Fiumicino airport is connected to Termini railway station by trains leaving every thirty minutes [cost of the ticket: € 8,80 a trip], while Ciampino airport offers a bus service until 11.40 p.m. [€ 1,00 + € 1,00 underground ticket to Anagnina Station]; from midnight on, a shuttle service organised by the airlines is available at € 8,00.

Getting TO/AROUND: The Termini Station is the heart of the transport system in Rome. It is a cross for (underground) metro A and metro B lines and is the main train station in town. A large number of bus lines start from here and, finally, a direct train link with the Fiumicino "Leonardo da Vinci" airport is available that runs about avery 15 minutes approximately. The ground level is dedicated to standard train areas; for the underground lines stairs lead under that. The Termini station is located in Piazza dei Cinquecento, 53 and serves main national railway lines.
