She Says: Growing up in Lake Havasu was very boring. There isn't much to do unless you rent or own a boat or water toy. You can always look at the London Bridge or the English Village, but that gets old fast. If you go into the Lobby at London Bridge Resort theres a golden cariage repleca. Lake Havasu in the winter is nice for snow birds. The town is nice and quiet, and the roads are easy to drive on. Laughlin isn't too far for the Grandma and Grandpa gamblers. The best buffet in Laughlin just to let you know is Harrah's. In the first week of March until the middle of April all the college kids from around the nation come to party. Theres a party every week. A good place to stay would be Crazy Horse Campground, or The London Bridge Resort. Make sure you rent a fast cigerette boat, or a house boat for max the fun. Get a lot of beer! Go to Kokomos a few times. Go to Copper Canyon and hook yourself to the boat cluster and party hard. Be crazy and do things you wouldn't useually do elsewhere, but just don't leave on probation. |
