Boppard is a lovely town that is great to do shopping and strolling. A nice place to base for Rhine River castle visits, whether seeing by car, bus or train.
We used the KD Koln-Dusseldorfer line for cruising up and down the Rhine, visiting Braubach and Marksburg Castle. Great scenery and a relaxed pace. |
