A few words about me

Ciao a tutti! I thought my homepage needed a bit of info about me, so here goes;

My love of travelling dates back to 1995 when I left my job to see what the other side of the world looked like; the other side being Australia/New Zealand & Fiji, as back then I was living in the UK.

Needless to say, I loved it and I couldn't wait to move over here. My '95 Oz/Kiwi/Fiji adventure took just over 3 months, so after I returned to the UK I went around Europe by train stopping at France, Belgium, Holland, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Slovenia, Italy, Spain & Luxembourg. This trip took a little over 2 months. I had a great time and all of the places had something to offer the visitor, but one country in particular appealed to me more than the rest and that was Italy...

Now I am in Europe for a few years. I would like to teach English in Italy, so if you have any advice ( or a job :) ) please drop an email my way.

The Grampians

The Grampians, Victoria, Australia

The Grampians are a beautiful place about a 3 hour drive from Melbourne.

I spent a couple of days there over the Christmas holidays, as you can see the weather was perfect, hot and sunny. The views are fantastic and there is plenty of wildlife around. I saw lots of kangeroos and had a close encounter with a wallaby, but not too close I stopped the car just in time.

I hope to return there soon.
