Batu Caves: We climb and climb and at the top we fly
  • Tip Rating:
  • We climb and climb and at the top we fly

Yes, it is taken from the famous song in 80's. When you visited Batu Caves, you are recommended to climb the seem-endless stairs. Batu Caves is situated 13 kilometer from KL.
It is a sacred place for Hindus in Malaysia. There are three caves. The caves are beautifu and for me..they are so exotic. I love the scene of the Hindus priest and people who join the ritual look serene and tranquil.
I also love the stairs, the monkeys that sometimes sitting in the stairs and the view when you reach the top of the stairs.

    Central Market: Central Market
  • Tip Rating:
  • Yes, KL is one of the city of merchants in South East Asia, where you can find spots to satisfy your shopping lust. But, if you are in KL, spare your time to visit Central Market. This is still touristic spot though, but unlike the new and modern shopping malls, with your fave brands, the Central Market offers something ¡¥arty¡¦. There is ¡¥street performance¡¦, handmade collection of fashion and souvenirs, portrait painters and fortune teller (the famous fortune teller was (unfortunately) unavailable when me and many tourists waiting for him patiently for reading our palms, cards or whatever for us to anticipate the goods and bads in our future ƒº.
The Central Market building is built since 1888 and it used to be vegetables and fish market. No fishy smells left, just art and enjoyable of window shopping that are there now.

Genting Highlands: Genting Highland: City in the Clouds
  • Tip Rating:
  • Your visit to KL is not complete if you don’t spare your time to visit Genting Highland. Claim the area as “City in the Clouds”, the city also knowns as “City of Entertainment”.
Genting Highland becomes a busy spot when weekends come. And even six hotels with more than 7000 rooms are fully occupied in holiday season. My visit to Genting is the same time when school holiday started. The huge lobby area is packed with people from all over the regions and also many tour groups, where the guides seem desperate to look for their tour members. Sitting in row of benches, waiting for your que number for check in to arrive has became one of the unforgettable parts of the visit to Genting.

Genting Highlands: Genting Highland: City in the Clouds Part II
  • Tip Rating:
  • Yes, the size of this area has made Genting entitled to be called as city. Due to the location in the highland, the area is often foggy, and this is one of the reasons why the city is called City in the Clouds.
The whole area is wide range of entertainment and it purposes to make people feel as they live in their own childhood phantasy of “fun land”. Adults can satisfy themselves and try their luck in the casinos. Women can still enjoy the luxury of shopping. Children would love this place for its different kind of merry rides and theme park. Family can enjoy the sky lift to see aerial scenery of Genting.
You can opt for go around city by walking or board into trem. Both are fun. The joy of daylight changes its scene when the dark comes. Dressed up people head to bars , clubs, discos and karaoke, or…back to casinos to finish the unfinished business. Not fancy nightlife scene? Bowling, cinema, theater, massage and hair salon are also available. It’s a truly fun land concept.

Menara Telecommunications Tower: Menara Kuala Lumpur
  • Tip Rating:
  • Menara Kuala Lumpur, one of the famous sky scrappers in South East Asia, has a breathaking height of 421 meter. It is highly recommended for you to visit Observation Deck, where at 276 meter above ground level, you will see from different side a breathaking KL city scene. In every window, there is also picture to show how the scenery looks like when the weather is clear (it was foggy days at our visit). It’s awesome!! The tour guide is multilingual audio tape that tells you detail about the Menara. On the wall, also there are highest tower worldwide (which I think needs to be revised when other highest tower in the world come to end of reconstruction) Romantic dinner can be done at the height. Treat your love ones with savory cuisine and tasty aerial view of KL.

Petronas Twin Towers: Petronas Twin Tower
  • Tip Rating:
  • One thing that immediately comes to my mind when step my feet to the famous Petronas Twin Tower is “Entrapment”, movie by Sean Connery and Catherine Zeta Jones. Let’s leave the “Entrapment” for a while to let yourself “trap” to the grandeous design of the Twin Towers. With 451.9 meter, the structure of steel and glass, Petronas is the world’s tallest freestanding twin towers. The area of the Twin Towers also known as KLCC (Kuala Lumpur City Centre)
