I've been to Halifax many times, for March break and occasionally in the summer. It's nice to take a day or two to go shopping and spend some time there. Halifax is a small city in Atlantic Canada. It's the biggest one in the Maritime provinces, but it has a small-town atmosphere. Since it was a port city in history, there are a lot of cultural things there that have to do with sailing and the sea.
